The Imaging & Screening Unit provides integrated technological support for cancer research within the Department of Experimental Oncology, combining advanced optical microscopy and automated medium-throughput screening platforms.
Imaging activities cover the full spectrum of optical microscopy — from wide-field to super-resolution — supporting applications from cells and organoids to tissues and in vivo model systems. The Unit assists researchers from experimental design to quantitative image and data analysis.
Screening activities offer open access to automated, plate-based platforms for systematic cellular and biochemical assays, enabling compound testing and functional studies.
Through expertise, training, and collaborative support, the Unit promotes robust, reproducible, and quantitatively driven research.
